Mission Street, San Francisco

I stayed on the corner of 7th and Mission in SF, which as you can see has some colourful inhabitants.

Embarcadero and Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco

After walking pretty much half way down market, which is a decent walk you come to the world famous EMB plaza. EMB was a mecca for professional skateboarders from the late 80's through to the mid 90's. After it was remodelled and deemed unskateable its now kinda just a open brick area, cool to see though as its right on the bay and you can check out some rad seafood markets, look across the water at Oakland and end up at Fisherman's Wharf.

Golden Gate Bridge, SF.

The world renowned Golden Gate bridge did not disappoint. I would have much rather have been there on a day like I was, than a clear sunny day. Although a little depressing (given that more people throw themselves off this bridge, than another bridge in the world) poor visibility, the wet, the wind and the occasional sound of a bellowing fog horn is something ill never forget.

Alcatraz

Alcatraz is one of the most insane places I've ever been. Even though its a complete tourist attraction now, you still get a sense of authority walking through it. The cells are tiny and the conditions would have been shit House, nice views though.
