Published
So awhile ago it came up that Tattoo, art and lifestyle magazine POST MODERN INK was looking for budding photographers to submit their work for possible publication. I eagerly submitted a few of my tattoo related images i have shot, and got a reply that one of my photos was to be published in the next issue. Not only was i stoked when i got my hands on a copy i almost fell over backwards in the newsagent. Go grab a copy!

Stigmata

Im not necessarily a religious person....I do however really enjoy religious imagery. Its pretty Brutal and quite depressing if you stop to look for more than 5 minutes.
I had a moment of clarity one night and an image similar to this popped into my head, the next day i set about re-creating what i envisioned.
I also entered this image into the Australian Better Photography Photo of the year awards and received a bronze award for it :-)

Love Story

They Say a Swan mates for life. I sat and watched these 2 black swans paddle around Benowa Gardens for about 2 hrs today, not only to try and get a good photo of them doing as lovers do, but cause they are rad birds to watch. They basically had the run of the pond and all other birds and creatures got out of their way as soon as they even looked in their direction. A Swans wing span can be up to 10ft and they say a good enough strike from a Swan could break a mans arm.

Day 365, 2009
I woke up really early today and decided to walk to the beach. i took some pics along the way. here's a look at my first waking hour of the last day of 2009.
I walked out of my front door and tripped over my sandy wet fishing shoes from zee previous nights fishing adventure. They smell like swamp mud, feet and fish. yummy.

I take a short cut through the dog park to get to the beach. The bins in this park have an overwhelming smell of dog shit.

The Sun showed its sorry ass briefly, then went back behind a cloud.

I don't know why took a photo of this, but i did. These Mirrors always have weird dents in them.

By the time i got to the beach it was sunny again and i was getting sun burnt quicker than you can say dick and balls, so i took a photo and bailed.
(yes i know i need a lens hood, but i dont have one for the lens i had)

See you next year.
