Kyoto

After 4 days in the chaos of Tokyo, we ventured south via Bullet Train to the small city of Kyoto. It's hard to explain how rad Kyoto is. The only thing I can compare it to is, Melbourne. It seems very music and art driven. Sculptures by various artists line the walk ways and buskers are jamming on every street corner. There are great eateries and rad little jazz bars down dimly lit alleyways. Compared to Tokyo, Kyoto is a more tradional part of Japan. However, modern progression has found its way into this city, converged with old Japan and created one hell of a good time. The below photos are from our first morning in Kyoto. I couldn't sleep so I went for a walk as the sun rose.
